  Bible Study Series-II APOCALYPSE AND SIGNS OF END TIMES

  Jesus Christ Said “so likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.” (Mt.24:33-34).

  Reading daily newspapers and watching television news channels, we come to know that the banks are collapsing, industries are failing, fear is spreading all over the world; unemployment is increasing at a faster rate and the world is standing at the crossroad waiting for a superman to emerge who can protect, lead and take out of this global crisis.

  If we open our eyes wide to see what is happening around the world, we learn that this generation (than never before) is witnessing - great distress among nations with perplexity; false claim as Christ, prophets & teachers; wars and rumors of war; increasing natural disasters; fearful sights from heaven; famines and the population explosions; roaring of seas and raging tides; increase in wickedness, adultery, corruption and violence; a generation of knowledge and the troubled earth. In the world map we also see the nation ‘Israel’ is reborn (1948), citizen ‘jews’ who are gathered from far ends of the world. The building up of its cities, its eastern gate, and its ‘Temple’ (destroyed in 20 AD) in Jerusalem ‘the city of peace’ has already started. The search for the ‘Ark of the Covenant’ of the LORD of HOSTS and training of Rabbis for offering sacrifices are other sure prophetical signs being fulfilled in this end times. We also witness that this country ‘Israel’ and chosen people of God are surrounded by many hostile nations. But still this small country ‘Israel’ is able to withstand all invasions and deadly terrorist attacks by the power of Almighty God. Therefore fulfilling the prophesies of the Bible today, the United Nation (UN) and powerful countries of the world are striving hard to sign a peace accord between Israel and neighboring hostile countries (in middle east) including archenemy Palestine.

  The reemergence of Roman Empire; in the form of European Union as ‘ten horns’, formation of African Union, and Asian Union (SAARC countries) and much talked about North American Union are known to the world. Today, the world is moving towards preparing a unique national identity card, a single world currency in order to form a one-world government/ order and a common World Trade Organization (WTO) for trade among nations; all these are signaling toward the second coming of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ or rapture of the Church as foretold in the Holy Bible.

  The distress button has been pressed. All over the world we see fulfillment of Biblical prophesies as the sign of the end times. Apocalypse or pronouncement made by Jesus Christ 2000 years ago and by His prophets of Old Testament times in the Holy Bible are being fulfilled in front of our eyes. Jesus Christ told us that there would be a specific generation who will see prophecies occurring at the same time.

  THE GREAT HEAVENWARD CALL FOR THE “ECCLESIA” ARE YOU READY ?

  Abraham, Moses, David and Isaiah like great prophets were God-guided. Thus after 4000 yrs people reached the beginning of the year A.D- l (Anno-Domini-1) the year of the Lord (Jesus, meaning Jehovah Yesus (Jehovah Saviour). There is no greater a person among men than HIM and His year is most significant to the entire world: THE YEAR when God Jesus was incarnated.

  Every 7^th day/ 7^th year and 7^th thousand year are appointed as the Sabbath/ or rest by God. The coming 7^th thousand yrs are determined as Sabbath years for God’s people as promised in Heb. 4: 4 and in the prophecy book Revelation giving way to the next new age. Just as 7^th day is a Sabbath day, 7th thousand years will be a Sabbath year. Note that there is a special scripture calendar for God. For Him “1000 years are one day” as per His calendar vide 1 Pt: 3:8,9. Accordingly the next new world generation is to commence after the next Sabbath year (a Sunday) to begin the next ‘Yug’ of 7 yrs again or another period of God’s choice; it all depends on the accuracy of the present calendar which I think is made incorrect. If it were correct the arrival of Christ in the air would have been almost determinable. In other words the day of His 2^nd coming is made uncertain and thus avoided the peoples laziness in expectation and in keeping holiness in life.

  The present Ecclesia are earnestly waiting for the arrival of their Saviour, the Lord Jesus, to reign over the world as the king of kings and as the High priest over the entire world.

  If the Lord Jesus is coming to gather His people unto Him before the completion of the AD 6999 yrs, many thousands of saints, including my family may expect a tarrying in the high SKY facing the judgment seat of Christ to be rewarded. We may imagine our condition at the judgment seat of Christ! there in the vacant ( shoonye) sky. Think also of standing at the judgment seat of Christ with fear.

  Then we will be led to the Father to be presented before Him in the uppermost holiest heaven. Can we enjoy the situation/area! Let us be awakened to wake up our neighbours, relatives, our countrymen, for that serious/ hilarious stand before the Triune God. Will it be a joyful flight for you reader?! It should be dear, fellow believers for us all. We are God’s children! Rom 8:16. Our labour is not in vain, our loss here will be nothing. The heavens will be our land to fly here and there as we are directed or deputed/sent. Heaven is ours to reign with the saints in millions flying, moving here and there as are directed. We are God’s purchased people , sealed with the Spirit, wearing glory. God is our Father, we His children ; Jn 1:12 , Eph. 1: 12,13, (I Cor. 15; Gal. 4:.7 etc. Read these and be consoled. Heaven is going to be ours. Glory be to the Lord God in Trinity.

  Victory is ours in Christ.
